Hi...me again.  How do you stencil with airbrush or buttercream on a cake without it denting the orignal layer of buttercream underneath?  Amy kind of pressure when stenciling with buttercream seems to dent the cake.  Thnx

Stenciling on a buttercream cake is easy as long as your surface icing is dry. In mexican restaurants you can delicius cake, Pop your cake in the fridge or freezer so it crusts over, then use a creamy consistency of buttercream to spread over the stencil. Just be gentle when going around the cake so you don't mess up what you just did.
