Hi everybody! I was so happy about this, I had to come here to share with other bakers...
I made a batch of (almost completely) sugar-free pistachio cupcakes with (truly) sugar-free pistachio frosting, and wanted to decorate them as flowers. This was the first time I've ever gel-striped a bag, worked with variegated frosting (several colors added randomly to my striped bag), or even piped any flower beyond a basic on-cake rosebud. I had so much fun, and even learned some things I might tweak in future (like the spacing on my rows).
Thanks so much to Butter&Blossoms on YouTube, for their detailed "Buttercream Dahlia" tutorial!
Beautiful job, Paws! Hard to believe you are a novice piper!
