Hi, Can you please tell me what the printable transparent sheets are that go on top of cakes (for example a picture of someone scanned onto a sheet and put on top of the cake ) Other than the picture the rest of the background is transparent.
Also will they only work on buttercream, or will they work on fondant too?
if you have any recommendations on brands, I would love that as well .

I have never heard of or seen a transparent sheet for edible printing. Acetate on a regular printer comes to mind, but it is not edible. The sugar sheets or wafer paper used for edible printing can be used on both buttercream and fondant cakes.
