I'm a hobby baker and decorate cookies with royal icing. I'd like to offer Cookie Kits with 12 cookies, sprinkles, and 3 bags of buttercream icing. Has anyone used Sam's Club's shelf stable buttercream? I'd like an icing that I can easily color and not have to worry about keeping in the fridge. Should I use Sam's or make my own? How many days in advance of an order can I mix the icing and put into bags? Do I need to refrigerate the buttercream?
