Beer Cake - Label Ideas?? Funny Names?
Decorating By SweetResults Updated 1 Feb 2007 , 2:16am by MystiqueFire
Very excited about a cake I am doing for this weekend - a 6 pack of beer, bottles in the case. I am doing edible images for the beer labels and want to make this a Birthday Assortment Pack of beer. Each label has it's own design, colors, graphics, etc...
I have 3 labels done.
Key details - 40th Birthday - Brian - Irish (of course!)
Label #1
I have a pic of the birthday boy at about 10 - Bri's Brew - Aged 40 Years - Brewers of Fine Ales Since 1967
Label #2
Burke Beer - Pride of the Irish - Forty Years - Brian Burke Signature
Label #3
ALE-ing Old Fart - 1967 - Over the Hill Brewing Co. - 40% Alc./Vol.
So do you all get the idea? I need 3 more ideas - Anyone got anything good? Also - any good names for the assortment pack?
Anything that will be funny! The ones I have so far are ones I made up - birthday related would be good. They are pushing the over the hill 40th thing, very humourous group - surprise party is being held in a pub.
Thanks!
R.I.P. Beer (R-eally I-nebriated P-erson)
-Downhill Brewery, Inc.
Guzzler's Choice Premium Ale
-Beer-Belly Beer Co.
B (barfly)
R (relic)
I (intoxicated)
A (aged / 'alchy /ancient / abnormal ?)
N (naughty / noisy /?)
-Excessive Libations Brewhause
-(maybe use a Celtic Cross on the label)
That is such a cute idea! How about Four Decades Lager? or Old and Bitter PILLsner?
Couple more - Older Than Dirt Brew or Antique Like You Lager? This is fun....
I saw a teeshirt that said, "Who's your paddy?"
That'd be cute on a bottle
