Hi there , I love making sponge cakes filled with cream but struggle with the decorating side of things ... I usually do stable whipped cream to decorate but am looking for something more versatile .. I dont like overly sweet buttercream. I attempted to make Russian buttercream (butter and condensed milk) but the flavour was just so heavy and just tasted like condensed milk and butter (which is literally what it is .. just was abit heavy tasting) .. is there anyway to improve on the Russian buttercream?.. Basically just looking for a not so sweet frosting to pair with the this cake
