I know we had a thread going about good cake decorating books, but I was just wondering if there are any books about making figurines? I have never made them before and I really enjoy books with colorful pictures and step by step instructions ... sometimes Im somewhat of a slow learner
and need books written in laments terms! Any good ones out there?
Any book by Debbie Brown or Lindy Smith would be my choice. Here is one of Lindy Smith's wedding topper couples. I like her work because there are really no facial features to worry about and you don't have to be a sculptor to make them cute.

And here is one of Debbie Brown's, her figures are all magical and so cute.

I agree with ShirleyW, Debbie Brown is a great source, with step-by-step instructions. Also, I know this will sound a bit weird, but I have found some good ideas from polymer clay "how to" books! I use clay tools, too!

We got a few clay books. They seem to have more ideas and be a bit easier to find. Basically the same techniques more or less.
