I found this cake (and many similar others) online, but wanted to find out what is it exactly, and where can I find instructions on a how to for it?
I'd love to attempt this for my Mom's 75th, but can't afford the $150 price tag!
From the website they said they use a crispy almond tart, and I've since seen a few other cakes like this online (seems to be a trend), but I haven't found anything online (probably because I'm not quite sure what to search for!)
Any help is appreciated!

It is called a Cream Tart and there are about a million tutorials. Here is one from The Sugar Geek Show.
