I've been having this issue for awhile now. My pound cakes are coming out with sticky top crust. I've tried baking a little longer, baking on higher rack, raising temp, even broiling top on low for a couple minutes, but nothing is helping. It's not very appealing looking. I've used the same recipe for decades, all brand name products. Does anyone have this problem? It's only on my pound cakes. I used to be the pound cake queen
No, that is a new one on me. The top side of my pound cakes are usually slightly crispy in places, my favorite part.
