Just made my first batch of French meringue buttercream with egg yolks & whole eggs.  It really was not one that I'd make again.  Especially as it has to be kept chilled in the fridge because of the yolks.  So once again it's back to my favorite Swiss meringue buttercream, in which I add more sugar & less butter than normal recipes.  It just can't be beat.
