Has anyone covered the top of the castle kit's turrets with royal icing? Does it work ok? I'm just hoping for something that's less likely to get smudged and ruined. Would it be too difficult to clean off afterwards?

royal icing will come right off in hot water — but like this lady said — watch out how you dry them after washing
