Made a couple if buttercream coated cakes recently. My house is far too warm at the moment to keep them anywhere but the fridge. The look fine when they're in the fridge but once removed, as they come back to room temperature the surface is very wet... any ideas how I can get around this problem? Thanks.

let them warm to room temperature slowly by putting them in or under a box or something

Just don't touch them until the condensate drys.

It is just condensation forming because of the change of temperature.  Just let it sit and the moisture will eventually evaporate.
