Hi, I just recently made a wedding cake, it turned out great! But now I have a request to make a three tiered wedding cake out of yellow, chocolate, carrot cake. Does anyone have any good recipes for a nice tender but sturdy cake? I have a few recipes but their are not wedding cake suitable as they are kind of soft. Thank you.

I always use the original WASC recipe.  A great, moist cake but sturdy enough to carve and stack.  Would be perfect for what you are needing.

Ditto what Freckles0829 said!  I always made cakes from scratch until I started making large, stacked and/or carved cakes, but they were too fragile.  Kakeladi's Original WASC recipe is perfect and can be easily adapted to any flavor.  Fantastic crumb and moisture too!
