Hello!

I'm new to royal icing, still learning how to decorate a cookie effectively. I live on a very humid island, so Im having problems with sweaty royal icing, blotches once decorated.  Im afraid to store them in the fridge between decorations, as the last time I took them out decorated they got ruined.

any tips?

thank you and have a lovely day

what about using chocolate or rolled buttercream? the buttercream might not crust well idk -- but you can add to it so it does crust better like add milk powder or cornstarch
