How To Measure To Print An Edible Label

I want to make an Isomalt whiskey bottle and box . I know how to make the mold and how to make the isomalt bottle . What I don’t know is how to measure the real bottle label ? What measurements are used to figure out what size edible paper is required for the labels . Would I trace out the real labels on paper and then take a measuring tape for length and width ? I don’t have a printer for this , there is a website that can make the labels but need measurements . Any help would be appreciated, thanks .
