Which Cookie Won’T Allow Black Lettering To Bleed?

I want to top cupcakes with a cookie upon which I will frost black music notes. I will decorate them on Thursday to use on Friday at a party.
I am using store bought black icing from a tube. Maybe vanilla wafers? Low fat perhaps because they are harder?
