For MC pieces you want to have a shine, would you use piping gel or deco gel?   I know deco gel hardens to a degree whereas piping gel doesn't.  Any thoughts on the two?

Does anyone bother with flavoring MC?

To deepen a color, does Gel work best?  I usually have AmeriColor on hand.
Thanks!

I sometimes add vanilla powder to my mc — I don’t think I ever needed it to shine so idk ‘bout that —

I don't add flavoring to my modeling chocolate because none of my pieces have ever been eaten.  I like it just the way it is, though.

Modeling chocolate has a natural shine for a limited time.  Just smooth it with your hands to sort of polish it.  This is modeling chocolate.Modeling Chocolate
