Thank you so much for your response! The cake part itself will be about 8” tall.. I’m thinking two 3” cakes and then one more which will be angled to make the screen.
I hadn’t thought of cookie dough, I do like that idea! Much more palatable for the kids too than straight gum paste

i attempted to right the orientation of these photos -- no es Bueno --
this is the recipe i have used -- but i substitute honey for a lot of the molasses because the honey does not respond to humidity that results in sagging etc -- i roll it out thick and over bake it a bit -- for your arcade adventure i would assemble as last minute as possible --
