Hi all,

I have an order requesting for a 18"x 36" (3" height) sheet cake. I know this is larger than the standard full sheet pan which is 18" x 26", so I need some advice on how to combine the sheet cake into this size as I only have a 9" x 13" (1" height)  sheet pan. After some simple maths, I was wondering if it is possible to combine 6 quarter sheet pan (9" x 13") together? Or am I pushing it too far. Also, I was worried about the fridge space and the making the whole cake looking seamless at the joint. HELP!!

The above cake was so big, I used a yard stick to smooth the icing on top ad it worked beautifully!

I cannot remember if I put this cake in the refrigerator after frosting.  It would have not been necessary because there was nothing perishable, but it would have been a tight fit, for sure.
