I’m new at carving, how many cakes a what sizes do I bake for a 3D bear? Any advice with carving would be helpful

or tell me how big you want it, how tall in inches, how many servings, how big do you want it, grizzly bear, care bear, standing, sitting, sleeping?

Yes, as -K8memphis said, the size  pan and number of layers depends upon how many servings you need.

but in the meantime -- that will be the equivalent of a three tier cake -- how many servings do you need, terra?
