Is there a good substitute for Cool Whip in the UK? I know I can buy it online but I'd like to know if there's an alternative that's more readily available in the supermarket? 

This is for an ice cream cake. The recipe calls for stabilised whipping cream. But the recipes on here talk about Cool Whip being so easy to decorate an ice cream cake with. Or would the stabilised whipping cream be a good alternative?
