Hi guys,

I am in tears and need help! I have a cookie order for this weekend and I cannot for the life of me work out what to do.

I’m in the UK so I use a boxed royal icing powder (which has powdered egg whites in it) - I made a batch of football/soccer cookies & the balls and the ‘4’s have dried perfectly but the shirts just will not dry.

The only difference is on the shirts there is 2 different colours of icing layered and a name piped on. It’s had almost 24hrs of drying time and it felt hard so I went to package and it broke and caved!

:( all the icing is the same on all cookies so I know it’s the layering causing the issue - any ideas? X

i’m sorry you’re having issues — do you have a pilot light in your oven? you could put them in there overnight to see if that would help— or maybe a candle? idk — don’t burn the house down though — set a timer to remind you — but don’t turn the oven itself on —

truly hope it works out
