I've been approached by a wedding gallery about making cakes for their clients. I would make the cake and then sell it to the gallery. I haven't given them an answer yet. I've always just sold cakes directly to clients. What sort of questions should I ask, and what things do i need to clarify, to decide if this is a good business venture? Any advice would be welcome!

to me the only way to do it second hand like that is to have already determined flavors, sizes and styles established and don't vary -- then they can order from your menu -- done -- charge them the same you would charge to any other bride --

because relying on someone else to tell you what the bride wants is difficult and not something I would ever want to do -- like if the bride wanted xyz or a few changes -- I would not do that -- I would only stick to the menu --

i'm thinking a wedding gallery is a venue?
