Hello,

I put my client’s orders on their contract. If they need to make any adjustments to their order I usually allow any changes up to two weeks before the event and just update their invoice to reflect any price changes.

I’m wondering how others do their orders. Do you put clients orders on your contract or on an order form? If people need to make changes do you make an amendment to the contract and have them resign? Or just allow changes through verbal/email agreement?

Thanks!

Written contract= written changes. PERIOD. Yes, have them sign something to acknowledge the changes, even a premade "amendment" form:

!. Change # servings from ________ to ______.

2. Change delivery time from ______ to _______.

3. Change flavors from _________________________ to _________________________.

4. Change final contract price from ____________________ to _________________________.

An additional total fee of $__________________ is due on _____________________. All original terms agreed upon in the original contract dated _______________ will remain in effect.

Johnson is right and it's safer her way -- but I did it different -- I said on the original that was usually signed by both of us -- that payment in lieu of signature confirms all changes/terms -- and I sent an email with any changes up to that point --
