hi guyss! i keep searching on this forum about prices on cupcakes in canada and I am so torn. Im seeing people talk about a prices range of $2-4 Toronto bakeries usually never keep classic vanilla and choco cupcakes with v icing they have extraagant flavors ranging from the prices of 3.50-4.00 each some even do 2.50-3.00. This is literally so confusing to me, i make everything from scratch and my buttercream is imbc. so if i compare myself to the high end bakeries that use scratch baking and use smbc etc they sell about 3.50-4.00 a cupcake of special flavoring. SO if i want to charge a client for a basic vanilla/choc cupcake with vanilla icing with a small fondant puzzle piece (diff colors). what price range am I looking for. I was thinking of like 3.75 but then I though that design is very simple if i can get hand on puzzle cookie cutters. so would 3.50 work? or is that too much? this lady is asking for 80 cupcakes?
$3.75 or $4 -- you can make cutters -- google "how to make cookie cutters"
