I’ve been reading that sugar veil sets up harder than the cake lace mix.

Can anyone speak to that?  Do you have a preference?  

I wonder if sugar veil can be softened by adding some vegetable glycerin..

I got off on the wrong foot with sugar veil when it first came out or rather they got on the wrong foot with me -- and the molds were So Expensive -- anyway the cheap stuff from hobby lobby works great -- can't remember the name of  it -- no it's sunny side up bakery products
