Hi everyone,

Today I got my home bakery inspection and passed. The inspector said I could start making and selling my products. My question is what now? I would like to sell at local farmers markets. Do I need to register my business with the state? Do I need to register my name as an LLC? Any help would be appreciated!

LLC would be a good start. That way, god forbid, If anyone ever got sick you wouldn't loose your house.

The first step would definitely be starting with a search for your state laws, or whom to contact.  The laws are different from state.  In Oklahoma, our cottage laws don’t require any sort of inspection or registration.
