Hello all,
I am wanting to know what is recommended if I want to use a type of raspberry syrup to decorate the outside of a cake. Is there a specific consistency/recipe out there? I want to be able to write designs/lettering. Thank you!

you would just have to cook it down to where you liked the consistency -- a syrup might not do actually -- you'd need a coulis --
