Has anyone used Rose Water to flavor a filling? Any advice on the best way to do this? I’m making a small baby shower cake- 3 tier 8” round vanilla cake with a classic buttercream frosting. I was planning on doing a subtle rose flavor for the filling... but wondering if there are any suggested alternatives to buttercream?
Ideally i would like something fluffier than buttercream. My cake is super light and since this one is small and the design is very simple I don’t believe it needs to be a particularly hefty filling.
