Hi all! This is my first time posting on here, but Im in a pickle and thinking this informative community could help me out. I have a specific cake design for someone in my head that involves a "pouring out" look of coke into a glass as part of the design. Ive been looking for inspiration of how i want the fake liquid to look and this image below comes closest to it. I would love to make it slightly translucent as shown in this picture as opposed to completely opaque via the use of dark fondant, chocolate, etc. Any ideas on how i can get this look for the pouring liquid? Thanks!

Here is a recipe for a homemade rock candy:  https://www.candysfarmhousepantry.com/?p=328

That is the only thing I can think of except for Isomalt.

Be sure and credit the website for the recipe if you go this route.  Thanks and good luck!
