Based upon the size of the flowers, I would guess these to be 3".

i think there is a ton of work there and the tops are beautiful -- but the gouged sides and the three layers in such a small cake competes unfavorably with the beauty and hard work --
and just in general -- a lot of naked cakes are just not pretty

They look very unstable, to me. I would be afraid they would fall over.

yes i agree with you, sandra, making a cake as tall or taller than it's circumference is fraught with troubles
