Hi! Does anyone know how to adhere hollow chocolate spheres to the sides and top of a cake? On either buttercream, ganache, or fondant? Tortik Annushka does beautiful cakes with spheres attached, but I’m not sure how it’s done. Do they use toothpicks, melted chocolate, or edible glue? I can’t find any tutorials at all. I’m not interested in gelatin bubbles. Thanks in advance for any insight!

I've never tried it, but I would insert a toothpick into the sphere, apply melted chocolate (the same color as frosting, whatever the type) where you want to attach the sphere, then stick the toothpick right through the melted chocolate into the cake.  Between the chocolate and the toothpick, I would think a hollow sphere would hold on.
