Hello, I need help. When I do buttercream floral on a cake such as a unicorn or cascading floral it causes my cake to lean and smash. I support my cakes but how do I support or stop my single tiers from doing this. I have a 3 tier wedding cake with cascading flower Buttercream down the front. I am terrified it will start to smash my cake?

one idea is to put very little icing in the cake because it is going to get covered with flowers -- if it's all over -- if it's just a cascade  -- idk --

but that's a fragile cake to give out under flowers -- isn't it? what kinda cake you making?

My thought was the same, sounds like a very delicate cake structure.  Perhaps a more sturdy recipe is required.
