I've used the SB pan spray and the butter substitute as it is supposed to be healthier. Has anybody tried the vegetable shortening by SB? I do use the zero trans fat Crisco, but not sure about the SB.
i used it frequently. it works just like regular shortening, maybe a little stiffer but the end result is the same.

I used it and noticed no difference at all from Crisco. I just wish my grocery store still stocked it.Ali
I don't use smart balance, but I do use Earth Balance (totaly different brand) margarine, and Spectrum shortening and I really like both.
