Hi, I have an edible image sheet for my husband's birthday (tomorrow, lol) and was planning on making a regular buttercream cake, but now I want to try making Italian Meringue Buttercream.

Will an edible image (photo) sheet transfer successfully to this frosting? Any tips I should be aware of? (I've never made this before)

Thank you!

I just had the pleasure of ordering some edible icing sheets from Icing Images.  They were extremely helpful.

My cake was fondant, so I can't advise on IMBC, but this link has their instructions for applying the images:  https://www.icingimages.com/how-to-apply-edible-photo

Hope this helps.

I use IMBC all the time and I have used frosting sheets (I purchase through Icing Images) without a problem. Keep in mind they don't totally melt in, but they work beautifully.
