I have the hottest hands in the world! Trying to pipe those large rosettes, in just a few minutes my buttercream turns to soup in the bag....I just don't know a solution, in GA with this miserable humidity, it's 100 times worse. With all the AC on high, it still warms up way too fast! Any advice??
Me too, I can't use modelling chocolate cos it just goes oily on once my hands touch it. What I do do though is to sit an ice pack beside me and put my hands on that to cool them down when I am piping biscuits (melting moments go all runny in the bag cos my hands melt the butter lol) or piping the filling in to the biscuits etc. It helps a bit.
I also place my hands on ice packs. Wearing gloves seems to help too. Also, I fill several bags with the same tip number and stick them in the fridge as they get too soft. Then I take out the one cooling in the fridge. You can rotate as many bags as you have tips for. All these things do slow you down though.
