Is there anyway to quickly fix a bent/leaky springform pan? The one i have is bent in one area. Not horribly but enough to leak some batter.

Place the insert on the bench-top [counter-top]/
Tear off a piece of aluminimum foil and lay on top of the insert.
Slip and clamp the sides into position.
NOW:
take the raggety edges of the foil and smooth them UP the sides of the pan. If they won't stay up - tie with string. The foil makes the pan leak-proof.
Just wrapping the insert does not consistently work. This method acutally makes a lining - above the insert [inside] and up the sides [outside].
