Some of the classes I want to take for my CE creditableare for airbrushing, sculpting and possibly fondant (which I personally don’t like but am considering becoming more practiced for my clients).

Looking at Pastry Palace in Vegas....

I really want the hands-on experience, not a video and would be making a trip of it, from the east coast.

I’m wondering where else I might find such these classes - or has anyone taken those at PP?  I understand it’s all subjective.  Sure would appreciate opinions though.

I’m looking there and around Savannah, but am open to other locations.

Admins, I hope this sort of post isn’t a conflict with any rules; It’s cross posted in Decorating.  If there’s an issue I’m glad to remove it.

Thanks

I just don't know any of the classes so I can't recommend -- I took the bronwen webber class for sculpting a standing figure and took a couple classes at an ices convention I attended but that's all -- so I just can't comment -- oh I got to go to the world pastry forum one year -- omg died & gone to heaven but only basic cake deco -- it was every other pastry thing though -- fabulous!

but I feel you can learn everything you need to learn on you tube probably -- classes are cool but your passion drives you too -- tons to learn on here too

World Pastry Expo?!? That’s incredible, glad to know they have lots of good products and such.

There are so many, though, was this the one in Vegas?  I can’t seem to find info for the 2018 one.  Would you have any information you can pass on?

thanks!

it was the world pastry forum in Nashville about ten years ago -- I don't think they have them anymore -- I got a scholarship or at least I got my way paid by egullet.org -- it was a week long event with some of the world's top pastry chefs -- it was incredible --

I hope you find the classes you are looking for -- new York and chicago have big schools there that offer classes too
