I need help, I've been trying to look online but haven't found quite what I'm looking for. I'm not even sure if this is a place someone could maybe help? I'm having a dessert table/bar for my wedding reception. My main attraction is going to be a chocolate fountain, so with that comes dipping items. I can't figure out how much of these items I need to have. There will be about 100-120 people. With the table I plan to have cupcakes and cookies. For the dippers I want to have brownies, oreos, rice krispie treats, marshmallows, and of course strawberries. I just can't figure out how much of each of the dippers I should get?

I'm interested in what responses you get here.

My estimate would be 3-4 pieces per person because its more than dessert - it's an activity and conversation piece!

I would suggest about 60 of each of the dippers -- I would add pretzels -- brownies might crumble into the fountain and it's game over -- you could do something like brownie edges -- something that would hold up better -- people will dip the cookies probably --

very important to have someone stationed there the whole time to keep the double dipping from happening -- and to trouble shoot -- for that many people you probably need two fountains --

also -- for the usual wedding -- people in their dress up clothes shy away from melted chocolate -- so while i'd advise half of each of the dippers i'd do a couple hundred strawberries -- if it goes slow you could have someone dip the berries, chill them and set them on the table -- just a random thought --
