I'm making my first time ever wedding cake for my sister who's wedding is this evening. She wanted a white cake with black ribbon on the borders. I did it all last night and she put it in her freezer and was going to put it in her fridge this morning. My question is should I quickly go remove the ribbon so it cake be removed from the fridge to sweat/thaw to room temp?
Thanks in advance!

I don’t see why you’d need to take them off. It should be just fine the way it is.
