I usually order white Satin Ice fondant on Amazon, but this time I wanted to order some pre-colored teal/turquoise fondant and I saw in the reviews many people were complaining about it being dry. Has anyone had troubles with pre-colored satin ice (or any other brand?)??? Also, in general, should I consider ordering from somewhere else (maybe Craftsy)??

Also, since no one is going to eat my cake should I use Wilton (I've heard horrific things about its taste...) instead because it is cheaper? Will it work as well as Satin Ice??

Actually, Wilton has changed. It was reformulated. It actually doesn’t taste that bad. I was in a rush, and I bought the black with a coupon from Michael’s.
