I’m not asking for help on how much to charge for edible figures, but rather what your own personal price is, and how you come to those prices.  There’s so many forums on cake pricing, but not so much for the add ons! Do you use fondant? Gum paste? Modeling chocolate?

Here’s my current list, but I’m honestly still a little unsure about it; I feel like I just recently overcharged someone, lol. This list is more for figures like people, animals, furniture, etc, and the 3 prices represent ‘easy, moderate, intricate’.

Small: $5, $7, $10

Medium: $10, $15, $20

Large: $20, $30, $40

Happy decorating!

I do not sell figures, but if I did, I would charge more than what you are charging.   I use all three mediums for models, depending upon the type and what is needed.  In many, maybe even most, I use all three.  For small cake toppers, I do not use modeling chocolate, but for my sculptures, it is my primary medium of choice.

Thanks for the reply! I wish others would join in! I work with modeling chocolate only right now, and my prices are also based on my area, which is a little, broke, ghetto town in Oklahoma, haha.
