How long in advance canI bake sugar cookies for a wedding? I thought I could bake them three months ahead of time. Wrap unfrosted wrap in plastic  twice then in foil and put in zip lock bags. Defrost the day before the wedding and decorate. Is this possible? Will they get soggy? Thanks

That is what I do when I have a large batch to make and they have never been soggy. I just leave them wrapped until they come to room temperature then proceed. What is your decorating medium? Are they butter cream iced? Royal? Fondant?

I have even had success with freezing them (royal icing) after they are fully iced.
