Do lemon tarts need to be refrigerated always or can they sit out for an evening at a party for guests? No meringue on top just lemon tart. I can use real custard or sheriff lemon pie filling. Any thoughts?
I use lemon curd in mine -- king arthur flour has a great easy peasy microwave method -- any kinda pudding, curd, custard made with eggs has to be kept at proper temp -- but they can set out for a while -- a couple hours maybe
this makes it fun to make -- honest!
