Hey i am doing a Boho first birthday cake. And the bottom tier and 8 inch i am covering in  gold feathers. 


What is the best way tp get they really gold.

I do hope you mean you are covering the tier in FONDANT feathers.  There are many gold dusts available, but, while considered food safe, they are not approved for consumption in the US.

This is what I use. It's actually edible and it's a shiny gold.

Also, they have other shades of gold. I mix it with vodka and paint it on.
