Hey there!

So, I'm reaching out to the CC community to see if anyone knows how the second from bottom tier was done.

Looks like a painting, but since it's on black fondant, I'm really not sure.  Maybe its an edible image, or some kind of decoupage?

Perhaps it's just a false tier, and is actual decoupage on fondant?  We're mystified over here.  Would love your thoughts! Is This A Painting? Cake Decoupage??

It looks like a printed edible image to me, sugar sheet or wafer paper.  Something about it doesn't really look painted.

Honestly, I it’s hard  tell. Could be a printed sugar sheet, could be flowers are painted on wafer paper, then applied to the cake. But when I enlarge the picture, it does seem hand painted.

it looks like 'wafer paper' to me also, as do the flowers.

Didn't think of enlarging.  I tried making it really big and it looks even more like a printed image.  I see nothing that looks like hand painting to me.
