I am in search of a Wilton Ruffle Tip #406 that is discontinued.  I've looked on Amazon. eBay and everywhere else I can think of. . .help???!!!???

i don't have one -- how much different is it than a 127? just looks like a big fat rose tip yes?

they call it a ruffle tip, but it's just a kind of very large rose tip.

I should say that I'm agreeing with you -K8memphis.  a large rose tip will do the same thing.

sounds like someone trying to be clever with the marketing -- where you need to buy a "ruffle tip" And a big whonkin' "rose tip" -- wouldn't be our buddies at wilton -- oh no-o stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye

but being serious -- i mean a lot of time you can just squeeze harder on the bag -- add a bit of water to the icing to loosen it up -- to get a bigger ruffle or whatever size you want -- true for piping and for cutters, just roll the fondant or whatever thicker than you want, cut, then roll it again -- bingo -- any size you want
