I need to make a fondant bow like this one and need to know the best way to add the edible sequins and do I add them before I put the bow together or after it is made?

I would add the sequins to the bow after it has been made and given a bit of time to harden. I believe using a dab of piping gel would suffice at keeping the sequins in place.
