This isn't only used on wedding photographers. I just had two people try to scam me. Beware!! Read the whole article....multiple pieces of this fit the two that contacted me.

A long list of unmentionable names come to mind, the most mild being JERKS! Thanks for sharing!

This is what I'm saying, Sandra. :) And you're very welcome. I hope this helps stop others from being targeted.

A very similar scam has been doing the rounds for a couple of years now in the baking industry - substitute photography for 300 cupcakes or a 3 tiered cake - other than that the details are all similar. If you are bored it is fun to string them along for a few days asking stupid questions until they figure out you are winding them up then they go away.
I had one going completely nuts, he asked for prices of cupcakes, cakes and pastries for 200 people. From that simple sentence I generated 10 questions for him to answer before I could possibly give him prices! He only answered 2 of my questions and from those 2 answers I generated another half dozen questions. HIs emails became shorter and shorter and mine became longer and more ridiculous :-D

HAHAHAHA!! Mine wanted 300 cupcakes. Another wanted 600
A-holes!
Best thing I learned from it is.....Paypal and Square must be pretty secure because they won't use those two pmt methods.
