So I'm starting a cake business and I'm selling my cakes online/at a market. I'm a cottage baker and would like to know which of these names are your favorite and also if you have suggestions for other names instead. My name is Merlene Deravine and some of the names will make sense after saying that. Also, if you have any ideas for a business name that incorporates my initials (M.D.) that would be awesome because it'd be like I'm the doctor of cakes. Anyway here's the list:

For goodness cake is the name of an organization that makes cakes for foster kids.  It's a cute name but you don't want to get lost in the search.  I like The Sweet Spot

If you are going to register a business name, you need to check and see if it is available. As stated there are a number of businesses around the world called For Goodness Cakes, have you checked to see if you can register it where you are?

i'm drawn to merder on cake street -- i always like using the real name of the street you are on too -- but you could also use it for a tagline -- or use something like -- 'here we are just killin' it' saw that on some t-shirts :)
